I am glad you asked! There are a few ways in which MasterpieceHR serves differently.
Consulting from MasterpieceHR uniquely starts from a system-inspired perspective. With my training in Organizational and Relationship Systems Coaching, every engagement benefits from an approach that doesn’t just look at processes, but considers how the relationship systems within the team have an impact on change and growth.
I bring significant experience of functioning as the HR leader as well as an executive with significant leadership responsibility. I have been blessed to have accountability for people systems from HR compliance to people strategies for a non-profit organization of over 2100 team members. In addition to the HR specific responsibilities, I owned strategic planning and facilitation for the executives and board for several years. So, when we talk about the HR basics, you benefit from a big picture perspective, as well.
I have experience in start up’s, healthcare organizations and a large, established Fortune 500 business. I can relate to your work whether you are non-profit, healthcare, an SMB or a complex and large organization. (Truth be told, though - I love non-profits, healthcare organization, and SMB’s the most!)
-
MasterpieceHR is designed to focus on non-profits of all sizes, and SMB’s. I lam passionate about serving businesses of all kinds to help support their efforts to meet their current goals, to grow and to provide a great work experience for their teams.
-
While I often serve organizations who have a very specific project or assignment completed - think a strategic plan, an employee handbook, or a succession plan, MasterpieceHR is also available on an ongoing, fractional basis.
-
Fractional services allow your business to have ongoing support and access to services without employing someone full time. It can be useful if you are between HR leaders or you need extra support during an organizational change. Alternatively, some businesses choose to include a fractional HR leader for 10 hours per week or 10 hours per month (or other amounts based on need) and pay for only the hours that are needed to best support your business. Because of the breadth MasterpieceHR can bring to your business, this can be a highly valuable option for some companies.
-
The engagements vary based on the needs of the organization. We start with a free one-hour consultation to learn about your business and its priorities. Then we will create a plan for the engagement.
Development and alignment of HR policies and an employee handbook for a growing, mid-sized accounting firm.
Executive coaching for a non-profit leader whose business is growing.
Delivery of a leadership workshop for a non-profit needing to upskill the leadership team to prepare for their strategic priorities.
Design of a performance management and incentive compensation process for a growing SMB.
Fractional services (10 hours per month) for a growing small business.
Development and facilitation of workshops to address leadership and human resource learning needs.
-
While there are some set fees (such as for a simple handbook), most of the work requires us to discuss your needs, how much time will be involved, and what budget your organization has available for the project, assignment, or fractional services. The fees are highly competitive given the level of experience provided.
